Public Confession - I Never Should Have Supported Barack Obama

This is a public confession... Barack Obama supports abortion and that issue alone should have caused me to not vote for him in this 2008 election. I am sorry for my actions and I even tried to encourage others to vote for this man. I was seriously drinking the obama kookaid people, and put issues like the war, the economy and heath care over the slaughter of innocent babies. Obama is now in favor of a bill going through our legislature right now the Freedom of Choice act which will remove many restrictions concerning abortion that have been put in place previously to make abortion on demand and readily available to anyone who wants one during any term they want to terminate a pregnancy.

  2. Thanks for your honesty about your 2008 vote. This is a brave confession. I appreciate your candor and courage.

I'd like to encourage you to check out Governor Palin's (I know you referred to her as Sarah Pain in your original blog, but since you're reassessing Obama, I'm wondering if you'd consider reassessing Palin) April 16, 2009 address to the Vandenburg County (Indiana) Right to Life annual banquet in front of more than 3,000 attendees.

It was covered on CNN Live and replayed on C-Span over the following weekend.

You may also want to know that she has volunteered to be the first signature on a ballot initiative in Alaska requiring parental notification for underage teenage abortions, since the AK legislature refused to take up a similar bill, which she supported, in this year's Session.

  3. Hi righteous indignation! I got the link to this website from Simone56 youtube channel, and I am assuming this is your blog. This is a great blog, as well as your utube vids, very compatible with the Word as well as entertaining. I chose to leave a comment on this blog because I am not sure that you received my personal message I sent you a couple of days ago, because you blocked me. Please don't get the wrong impression, I AM NOT TRYING TO APPEAR CREEPY OR STALKERISH. I just want to be sure that you received my side of the story. Quick rundown: You blocked me because of my subscription to entourage of encouragement no? Explaination: I am new to the youtube communtiy & to having a computer period. Whatever channel I view that appears christain in nature, I subsubcribe often without viewing any of their vids. This happened in the case of my subscription to E. of encouragement. As a matter of fact, a couple of days ago was the first time I even had a chance to look at their vids, & I WAS DISGUSTED. I do not condone at all the foul language or childish tactics they used to convey their viewpoints. IMO, TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I quickly unsubscribed to them needlessly to say. And if there is any other reason you blocked me Simone56, please accept my sincere apology & please consider unblocking me. Yourself, faithandreasons, Ringo4life, healthyhairluvaffair, sagetheprogeny, NYTN, & way of the master are my absolute favs on utube. This is my last attempt to try to reach you on this matter, I am leaving it in the Lord's capable hands. Please visit my channel (I haven't uploaded any vids yet, but as soon as I purchase a quality camera, I will!) for an accurate description of me. My children have a channel also: 123marioiscool. Alright, sorry this comment is so lengthy sista. In closing, I am glad you had an change of heart about voting for Barack Obama, IMO his walk doesn't line up with his christain profession of faith, and no one is above the Word, not even the president. I did not vote for him also because of his stance on abortion & homosexuality.
    Peace & love-

  4. I am certainly glad to read that you have seen the error you made. Barack Obama had THE MOST PRO-ABORTION record in the U.S. Senate during his brief time there, and he was the only member of the Illinois State Senate to vote against a measure that would protect survivors of failed abortions.

I hope you understand that it isn't just his issue on abortion that is problematic; his whole ideology puts government ahead of the individual. If he has his way, you will lose your rights and freedoms one by one.

Please visit The Chronicle Watch for more on Obama and his administration's drive to replace worship of God with worship of government.

  5. Thanks for your honesty - I never could understand the Obama rage during the election. I always felt it was some kind of mass hypnotism.

God Bless you as we continue to pray for our President.

  7. Hey, thanks for your honesty! I see this was posted back in May, but I just now read it on Black and Right's blog. I know you feel like you made an awful mistake. However, since you're a Christian (and a rather strong one, from what I gather), you also know that it is God that puts rulers in power and, for some reason - whether we're being punished or whatever - this is who we have. However, we don't have to take everything lying down, either! ;)

  8. I have enjoyed listening to your view points. It is evident in your writings that you are truly seeking Him. As for Voting for President O'bama or anybody else for that matter, I offer you this thought. The USA is not a theocracy; but a democracy; therefore, when we elect an official, we are electing someone not governed by the Bible but the constitution of the USA. We think we are electing someone who is bound by God and His Word; but truthfully speaking, it is the constitution of the United States he or she must defend. This in itself is a problem. For example, should gays be allowed to marrry. The Bible says no.. but the constitution says that every one has the right for life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. O'bama has made it clear that he plan on supporting this initative. I really don't want to be lengthy with this post so I will sum it up like this.. Christianity and Politics don't mix. God doesn't want us to change the world through political obedience. He wants us to change the world's heart by preaching the Gospel of His Love. Not by compulsion but out of love. Keep doing what you are doing.

  9. Have you watched the film Maafa21 which shows the racist agenda of abortion? It totally ties into what you are saying and will proved a great resource to convince other sof how evil abortion is. Watch a short clip here: www.maafa21.com

  10. I'm not much of a politic follower or Barack supporter so understand I am not well read on either of the two.

But with that being said, going from the comments I've heard him say over that last 1+ years his take on abortion is this:

As president he supports the constitution and therefore supported the right the constituion gave people BUT spiritually he would hope people would make the right decision in regards to abortion and perhaps programs could be put in place to keep them from getting abortions.

To me that's a sell out. So my question is, should Christians get involved with a political system that promotes and or allows unrighteousness.

As president you can't deny people there constitutional rights. People have a right to sacrifice animals to idols under the Constitution. If somone does that and Obama allows it, should we not support him as president of the land because he supports the Constitution therefor supprt there rights?

  11. Excellent Video, Simone, I'm glad you saw the light.
He is a WICKED man, and I pray the USA can survive all the destruction he is creating, be blessed.

  12. Have you seen this cartoon?

I'm not going to give you a hard time about voting for Obama. Sounds like you're really beating yourself up enough. And I've done the same thing. I've voted for people and then said "Ooops, what did I do?" once they started showing their true colors. I hope I learned that lesson for the last time back in the '90's with my regrettable support for Bill Clinton.

I liked what you said about not compromising with evil. A friend of mine says "You can't shake the devil's hand with your fingers crossed behind your back." I don't share your religious faith, but abortion on demand is clearly an abomination. We can't kill people based on our own personal convenience. I saw maybe half an inch of difference between Obama and McCain, except for that one issue. So that's what made my decision.

Do you know about Alveda King? I respect that woman more than I can say.

You've learned something and learned something about yourself. So thank you and bless you for sharing.
